Dr. Jackson Nyamuya Maogoto
It is with profound sorrow and deep regret that we announce the untimely demise of Dr. Jackson Nyamuya Maogoto who was, until the time of his death, an eminent international legal scholar, well -published author and a senior lecturer at the University of Manchester (UK).
Son of the late Ribin Jackson Nyamuya Maogoto and Mrs. Mary S. G. Maogoto. Doting husband to Dr. Helena Anolak lecturer Flinders University (Australia). A loving and dedicated father of Lucija Gesare Maogoto. Loving brother of Richard Mariga Maogoto — Head Enterprise Banking Stanbic Bank Kenya Ltd, Dr. Edwin Oribu Maogoto – Medical Doctor NHS (UK) and Lillian Kerubo Maogoto — Founder Kerrie Leather.
Grandson to the late Jackson Maogoto Nyantika, Naomi Kerubo, and Grace Banchiri. Brother-in-law to Lina Nkatha Mugambi, Emma Makena Kinuthia and Elijah Owour Odada. Son-in-law of Greg and Osija Anolak (Australia), Tennyson and the late Mary Mugambi, H.E Kinuthia Mbugua and Nancy Kinuthia, Cleophus and Elizabeth Owour. Uncle of Ryan Mariga Maogoto, Rylan Nyamuya Maogoto, Philippa Gesare Oribu, Mikaela Wambui Oribu and Warren Nyamuya Kingi.
Nephew of the late Peter Nyantika, Loice Monyangi, Elzaphan Mose, Peninah Nyarunda, Christopher Obaigwa, Hosea Maogoto, The late Monicah Maogoto, Charles Maogoto, Thomas Mongare, the late Jane Nyamchama, George Maogoto, Jane Nyamokami, Lillian Moraa, Henry Maogoto, The late Monica Nyakerario, Annah Asiago, the late Daniel Matoke, the late Marisella Kemunto, Samuel Mabeya,William Sagini, the late Florence Nyangara, the late George Onditi, Concepta Nyarangi among others.
He lies in state at Lee Funeral Home.Those wishing to pay their last respects are welcome today between 9am – 10 am.
He will be laid to rest on Thursday 7th May 2020 at their-home in Kineni settlement Scheme — Nyamira.

RIP Dr. Maogoto you embodied hardwork and determination. You set high standards in COHS and gave me words of wisdom that I adhere to to this day.Kwaheri ya kuonana tena.
Oh.Gosh…This was my exceptionally brilliant collegamate..I had lost his contacts in 2015…it’s sad he passed on and was buried without my knowledge…
