It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Dr. Jane Gacheri Muriuki, which occurred on 34th March, 2021.
Daughter of the late Joel Muriuki Mugambi and Janet Kanaito Joel of Kiraa village Ntemwene, Kathera Location, South Imenti – Meru County.
Loving Mum of Kingsley Mutuma and Ivy Brenda Nkatha. Adoring Grandmum of Grayson Mutuma. Beloved sister of Joyce Nkatha & Edward Gikunda, Florence Kathure & Justin Nyaga, Gitonga Muriuki & Ruth Gitonga, Charles Mwenda Muriuki & Lucy Mwenda, Rosemary Kagwiria & Muchai Mugambi, Kiogora Muriuki & Catherine Kiogora, Kithinji Muriuki & Anita Kithinji.
A darling niece, cousin and aunt to many. A friend, mentor and inspiration to many youths she nurtured and cared for.
She will be laid to rest at the family home in Kiraa Village, Kathera Location, South Imenti – Meru County.

We fondly remember the times we spent together with Gacheri and her children in Minnesota, USA. In Minnesota, Gacheri organized us into a community based Christian Fellowship where we worshipped and fellowshipped through great food. Gacheri was able to bring many people together through great communication skills. Gacheri was very hard working as she was able to complete her studies on top of parenting her two children and leading a community based Christian Fellowship.
Through Gacheri we got to meet many members of her family and made long-lasting friendships. We have very fond memories of the time that we visited her in Canada. Our prayer is that our Good God will give Gacheri’s children and her family peace and comfort to go through this so sudden loss. Gacheri we loved you and your memories will remain with us forever.
