Dr. Lydiah Kananu Rukaria
It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved mum Dr. Lydiah Kananu Rukaria of Technical University of Kenya (TUK) which occurred on 20th December 2019 in South Africa.
Daughter of the late Jacob Rukaria and the late Gladys Naitore Rukaria. Sister of Andrew Muthaura, the late Jonathan Gituma and the late Ciiru. Mother of Lorraine Kathambi and Lynnette Joy Mumbi of Multimedia University of Kenya. Grandmother of Brielle Laika. Step-sister, aunt and cousin of many.
The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home at 6:00 am on Friday 10th January 2020 for a funeral service at St. John’s Methodist Church, Kiirua at 10:00 am. The burial will take place on the same day in Maitei Village, Kiirua Location in Meru County.
Family, friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at Kasarani Group of Schools, ICIPE Road, Nairobi, at 5:00 pm and in St. John’s Methodist Church-Kiirua in Meru.
Lydiah in God’s hands you rest, in our hearts you remain forever.
