It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Dr. Moses Gakuru Thuo on Wednesday, 23rd December 2020 in Mombasa.

Beloved son of the late Mzee Peter Thuo Thagichu, the late Beatrice Njeri Thuo and the late Margaret Waithera Thuo of Githiria, Karuri, Banana Hill.

Brother to Ambassador J.P. Mbogua, Edward Gacuno, Judith Gathuri, Rachel Nyoro, Simon Karani — all deceased, Sophia Njambi, Margaret Karugu, Mary Wambui, David Karanja, Sarah Mwaura, JSP Mirie, O.J Mbugua, D.K Thuo Advocate, Mercy Wanjiku, Edward Ngumi and Paul Thiong’o.

Father to Peter Thuo, Beatrice Njeri, Sarah Njoki all of the USA and the late Judy Wanjiku, Gilbert Misano (Sonni), Beatrice Njeri and Peter Thuo (Pepe) all of the USA, and Edwin Thuo, U.S.A, Saida Njeri Thuo and Mahmoud-Abbas Thuo, of Mombasa.

Uncle, Cousin, Nephew, Grandfather and great friend to many.

The funeral service and burial will be at his home in Githiria, Karuri, Banana Hill, along Banana Raini Rd on Wednesday, 30th December 2020 starting at 10:00AM.
