Dr. Peter Mwendwa Kithome
It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Dr Peter Mwendwa Kithome which occurred on June 22nd 2018 at the Bishop Kioko Catholic Hospital, Machakos. He was the Chief Surgeon and Consultant Surgical Gastroenterologist and Liver Transplant at the Narok County and Referral Hospital. Narok County.
Doting father of Doris Kisio Mwendwa, Jean Gathoni Mwendwa, Collins Mbithi Mwendwa and Joseph Kithome Mwendwa. Beloved son of the late Mutemi Kithome and Joyce Kisio Kithome of Kaliwa Village, Mutanga Sublocation, Kyuso Location, Mwingi sub-county, Kitui County. Brother of Syombua, Munywoki, Monica, Wayua, Mwanziu, Kimanzi, Kyalo and Mwikali. Nephew to Alexander Mwova and David Kitulu. Uncle and cousin to many.
Funeral arrangements and prayers are going on at his home in Machakos and Nairobi.
There will be a mini-harambee at the Machakos Old T-ToT Hotel on Wednesday July 4th 2018 starting 5.30pm.
A requiem service will be held at the Nairobi Baptist Church Ngong Road this Friday July 6th 2018 at 10 am.
The cortege leaves the Machakos Montezuma Funeral Home at 7.00 am on Saturday July 7th 2018 for his home in Kalwa Village, Ngomeni location , Mwingi Subcounty, Kitui County followed by a funeral service at 12 noon at the graveside.

Doctor Mwendwa to rest in eternal peace in the arms of Almighty… I never met him alive but heard a lot concerning his expertise. I attended his funeral which was full of good moving testimonies. He was actually a reliable doctor.
