It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Dr. (PhD) Rose Okumu, CSO Ngata zone, Rongai Sub-county, Nakuru on 13th December, 2019 at Nairobi.

Daughter of the late Michael Okumu and Anne Okumu. Mother of Maureen Mwanda Kiamba, Faith Mwanda, Lydia Okumu and Brian Otieno. Mother in Law of Steve Kiamba. In-law of John and Kiamba. Sister of the late Uhuru, the late Akinyi (Celestine), Charles, the late Odhiambo, the late Oduori, the late Anyango and Eunice Awino. Sister-in-law of Boniface, Colleta and Evelyn. Cousin of Monica, Ben, Pascal and Mary among others. Auntie of Mercy, Hillary, Dan, Catherine, Juliet, Calvin, Solomon, Lazarus among others.

Friends and Family are meeting daily at St. Xavier’s Primary School, Nakuru.

A major fundraising to help clear medical bill and help with burial arrangements will be done on Wednesday, 18th December, 2019 at St. Xavier’s Primary School starting 3.00pm.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on 19th Dec 2019 for the Funeral Service at St Joseph the Worker Parish, Nakuru on 19th December, 2019 starting 2.00pm and later to her home at Kapkures/Baruti Nakuru for the burial on 20th December, 2019.
