May the good Lord provide solace to Shem’s immediate, and extended family as well as friends. Let us all be thankful to God for the times we shared with him. I will forever cherish our discussions on music, Cuban or Nyatiti! RIP baba Sharon.

It is my hope and prayer to the Olende family that they can find some consolation from Christianity’s affirmation that death is not the end. Death is not a period that ends a great sentence of life, but a coma that punctuates it to more lofty significance. Death is not a blind alley that leads the human race into a state of nothingness, but an open door, which leads man into life eternal. Let this daring faith, this great invincible surmise, be your sustaining power during these trying days. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15:55 “O death where is your sting, O grave where is your victory”

Great friend of my late father Michael Oria Ongadi. Dr. Arungu was a greatly inspiring scholar who cleared the intellectual path that many in Nyakach have followed. May God comfort the entire Olende family at this time.

Having heard and read part of the impact Dr.Arungu has had to this world, my thoughts are that he has fought a good battle and kept the faith and finished the race.
May he rest well and may the Lord guide us as we emulate him.
