Dr Stevie Moses Nangendo

Dr Stevie Moses Nangendo, a senior lecturer at the University of Nairobi, Institute of Anthropology, Gender and African Studies passed away on 24/10/2021, at Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi.

Son of the late Mwalimu Christopher Nangendo and Mama Phoebe Nangendo of Kuywa, Bungoma County. Husband to the late Emily Wamalwa. Father of Kimberly Miller, Bill Wakape, Wafula, Prudence.

Brother of Ruth, the late Betty, the late Mary, Esther, Judith, Florah, Robert, Tom (TNT Sacco), Grace, Peter, Esners, Micah, Ben, Bim, Wilson. Brother-in-law to Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Defence Eugene Wamalwa, the late Vice President Michael Kijana Wamalwa, Irene (USA), Perpe, Gloria, among others. Grandfather of Jayden, Rasoa, Mary.

Friends and family are meeting daily at 5.00pm, at Garden Square Nairobi and at Kuywa, Bungoma County to raise funds for offsetting medical bill and for last respects. A harambee will be held on Wednesday 03/11/2021, at All Saints Cathedral, at 5.00pm, and on the same day, at his Kuywa home at 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Morgue on Friday 05/11/2021, at 7.00am, for Kuywa. Burial will take place on 06/11/2021.
