Drusilla Nyaboke Maiko

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing on of Drusilla Nyaboke Maiko, formerly of IDB, on 2nd March, 2024, in USA. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

She was wife of the late Francis Beda Maiko, loving mother of Andrew Maiko, Vivian Maiko, Elaine Maiko, and step-mother of Onchera Maiko.

She was mother in-law of Kirsten Maiko and cherished grandmother of Vincent.

Drusilla was daughter of the late Nelson Ombui Onchiri, Esther Obonyo Ombui and Step daughter of the late Jerusha Ombui, all of Nyagiki village.

Niece of Anna Nyanduko, the late Nyambane, Bisieri, Ondari, Ayuma and others.

She was daughter in-law of the late Patrick Mauta and the late Maria Kwamboka of lgonga, Bomariba village.

Drusilla was sister of Eunice Moirongo, Jairus Ombui, Henry Ombui, Margaret Masaki, Evans Onchiri, Sophia Ombui, and Hon. Geoffrey Ombati.

Step sister of David and Masega (late), Tom, George, John, Joshua, Richard, and Gideon.

She was sister in-law of Moirongo, Atang’a, Masaki, Norah, Priscah, Jane, Lilian, the late Mocheche, Moraa and Serah.

She was auntie of Tony Mochama, Nelly, Ruth, Erick and Lydia, Maiko and Jackline, Diana, Silvia, Moraa, Brian and Carol, Joy, Michelle, Aloys and Lydia, Enock, Elvis, Mark, Martha, Jeremiah, Malachi, Kevin, Abigael, Nathan, Emmanuel, among others.

Fundraising will be conducted on Wednesday, 27th March 2024 at Maxwell Church (Nairobi Central SDA), Old Sanctuary starting 5.00pm.

A funeral service for Drusilla, will be held on Thursday, 4 April, 2024 at the Maxwell SDA Church, Nairobi, at 12.30pm.

She will be laid to rest on Friday, 5th April 2024 at her home, Kiserian, Kajiado County.
