It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Duncan Kihumba Watata of Duala Traders Ltd Jamii Arcade Nyamakima.

Son of the late Ibrahim Watata Hutie and the late Peris Murugi Watata. Step-son of Grace Gathoni Watata. Husband of Lilian Wangeci Kihumba( Liwaki Electricals). Father of Peris Murugi,Alex Maina, William Muriithi, Paul Kiambati and Richard Maricho. Brother of the late Agnes Nyawira, the late Paul Kiambati, the late John Miatu, Simon Muchiri and Samuel Karimi. Step-brother of Chrisford Kiambati, Peter Njagi, the late James Muchiri, Ann Nyawira, Loise Wanjiku, Beth Wangui, David Muchemi, Susan Kamuyu, Mary Wothaya, Miriam Njoki and Duncan Kihumba. Father-in-law of Dickson Gitau Gichuhi, and Mercy Wangui Maina. Grandfather of Malcom Levi’s Gichuhi, Natalie Njeri, Sharon Wangeci, Collins Kihumba, Levi Jabali and Logan Huru. Brother in-law of Duncan Gichuru, Naftali Nderitu, Nancy Ng’endo, Simon Njoroge, Richard Muriuki, Solomon Mwangi, John Wachira, Julius Mugereki & Judy Wangui.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at 6pm to 8pm for prayers and funeral arraignments at Lizie bar Munyu rd opposite (former Kenya mpya stage), at his Lulu Gardens home in Ruiru and his upcountry home at Boiman Kabati (Mung’etho) Nyahururu.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Mortuary (KU) on Tuesday 03/12/2019 at 6:00am. Burial will follow thereafter at his home in Boiman Kabati (Mung’etho) Nyahururu starting 11:00am.

Psalms 147:3. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

It is the Lord who gave us Duncan Kihumba Watata and He is the one who has taken him, May His name be praised. Amen. Rest well with the Angels.
