Edward Mugasia Amadi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of our great hero Mr. Edward Mugasia Amadi which occurred on 11th March 2023 at Avenue Hospital Kisumu.

He was the 9th born son of the late Hezekiah Amadi and Lenah Kalegi Amadi. His siblings are the late Alfayo Amadi, the late Pastor Japheth Amadi, the late Joram Amadi, the late Joseph Amadi, the late Herman Amadi, the late Jerusa Muluhya, Serah Lavisa, the late Ronald Amadi and Philemon Amadi.

Loving husband to Leah Kavere Amadi. Adoring father to Dr. Edgar Hezekiah Amadi (Kenyatta University Medical School) and Dr. Alvin Keya Amadi (Urologist, Baringo County).

Son-in-law to the late Ishmael Keya and the late Tokesi Kegenyo. Brother-in-law to the late Alfred lmbwana Keya, Elizabeth Kagiika Mugadi, the late Erastus Lamenya Keya, Mary Muhonja Agufa, Timothy Injairu Keya, Tom Laban Keya, the late Florence Kavurani Keya, the late Joyce Evereso Keya and Joram Avida Keya.

Father-in-law to Dr. Lynda Oluoch (PHRD Kemri, Thika) and Dr. Doreen Njeri (Gertrudes Hospital, Muthaiga).

Grandfather to Aiyden Randiga Mugasia, Nathan Oluoch Amadi and Sophie Kavere Amadi.

Vasanji to Elly Randiga Oluoch and Rosemary Halwenge of Bondo and Paul Nganga Mwangi and Patricia Waruguru Kinyua of Mombasa.

The cortege leaves St. Monica Mortuary, Kisumu on 24th March 2023 for an overnight vigil at his home in Gisambai, Hamisi Sub-County, Vihiga County. The funeral service will take place on 25th March 2023 at Gisambai Primary School followed by burial at his home in Gisambai.
