Edward Ngure Tharau

It as with humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the passing of Edward Ngure Tharau, which occurred on 4th May 2019.

Son of the late Tharau wa Kahihia and late Wanjiru wa Ndathe. Husband of the late Rachael Wanjiru and Grace Watiri. Father of David Waiganjo Ngure, the late Peter Tharau, Janet Wambui Ngure, the late Susan Wanja, Richard Nguga, Hortensia Mumbi, Lucy Njeri, Jane Wanjiru Kabaiko, Susan Wanjiku Njoroge, Francis Ndung’u, Aiice Mumbi Njagi, Nancy Mukuhi Makonnen and Peter Tharau Ngure. Father-in-law of Grace Waiganjo, Jane Tharau Ngure, Anastasia Wanjiru, James Kitavi, Joseph Kimani Kabaiko, Fred Njoroge Ngina, late Patrick Njagi and Francis Makonnen. Brother of the late Mumbi Karugaa, the late Nahashon Wachiuri, the late Kabogo Tharao and the late Isaac Njoroge (Menja). Grandfather of many and great-great-grandfather.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangement at his home, Kongothiria.

The cortege will leave uplands Funeral Horne on Tuesday 7th May at 9 00am for church service at ACK St Andrews Kaingothoria at 11.00am. Thereafter, burial at his home.
