Death has occurred of Edward Njuguna Muthiga (Waithiru), formerly of Njoroge Baiya & Company Advocates, Kaminch House, Kiambu. He hails from Githiga Village, Githungun Sub County, Kiambu County.

Son of the late Gerald Muthiga Kihonge and Margaret Nyamurwa and Step son of the late Janet Njeri. Husband of Lilian Njoki. Doting father of Symprose Njeri (KMTC – Thika Campus) and Martin Muthiga (Ngenia High School). Brother of Jeremiah Kihonge, Geoffrey Kihiu, Alice Kamau, John Magothe, Anne Chege, Francis Ndiba, Samuel Muthiga, Peter Mukua, Esther Njenga, Lucy Waititu, George Baiya, the late Jeremiah Muhoro, Mary Hosea, Sarah Kamau, Rosa Kahuhu, Gideon Rugethe, Pastor Waithiru, Stephen Kamanu, Pauline Mburu and Anne Kipongo. Son-in-law of the late Simon Githinji Michuki and Rachel Wangechi of Kangema, Murang’a County.

Family and friends are meeting at his home in Githiga, Gatitu near Gatitu Tea Buying Centre from 4.00PM daily.

The body leaves Mukoe Funeral Home on Thursday 7/3/2019 at 9.00AM. Burial ceremony will take place at Githiga Primary School Grounds from 11.00AM, followed by burial at his home in Gatitu near Gatitu Tea Buying Centre.
