It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Edwin Gakuya Wahome (KPA Mombasa).
Beloved son of Paul Wahome Gakuya (Nairobi) and Catherine Wangari (KPA Mombasa). Beloved brother of Melissa Wangechi of Nyali Primary Mombasa, Ryan Mugo of Sapling School-Mombasa, Raymond Wahome (Nbi) and Tevin Wahome (Nbi). Grandson of Lydia Wangechi Mugo (Gichigaini Karatina, Nyeri), Ann Wanjira Gakuya and the late John Gakuya Wahome (Gathima Karatina, Nyeri). Nephew of Beatrice Wandia (Nbi), Phyllis Mumbi (Nakuru), Mwai Gakuya (Msa), Eva Mbugua(UK), Steve Ndunyu Gakuya (Nbi), Rachael Harrison (Nku) and Nancy George (Nbi). Cousin of Dylan Mugo (Nbi), the late John Gakuya Mureithi, Michael Kinyua ‘Kish’ (Nakuru),Anne Muthoni (Qatar),Alex Mbugua (UK), John Gakuya Ndunyu (UK), Job Muthui Ndunyu (Nbi), Sylvia ‘Bobo’ (USA), Shish (UK), Jedida (Msa), Kate George (Nbi), Lewis George (Nbi), DannyJoe (Nku) and JohnFavor Kareko (Nku).
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his mother’s home in Nyali Mombasa and at Norwich Union House from 5.30pm on Thursday 20th February, 2020 and Friday 21st February, 2020.
The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Monday 24th February 2020 at 10.00am for the funeral service and burial ceremony at Langata Cemetery.

Death is cruel and yet so final, I will forever remember all the times we shared so fondly drinking beer and cursing out loud and fighting these fucks.Thanks for standing by me when I lost my elder brother and as the adage goes , love begets love my dear bro.
