It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Elder Elijah Getontogoro Nyarangi, of Kenyamware Village, Nyambaria Sub County, Kitutu Masaba, Nyamira County which occurred on 13/8/2025 at Nairobi West Hospital, after a long illness.
Husband of Dr. Esther Okenyuri Nyarangi, son of the late Jameson Nyarangi and Baba Yunuke, Nyabe, Abigael, Meroka and Paustina Nyarangi. Son-in-law of the late Steven Nyaundi and Yusaria Nyaundi.
Father of Rosebellah Nyarangi, Rachel Gesaka, Emmah Bett,Annah Nyarangi and Tina Nyarangi. Father-in-law of Daniel Gesaka, Ian Bett and Matteo Contardo.
Brother of the late Meshack Omwenga, Daniel Nyarangi, Hellen Juma, Margaret Masaki, Alice Kibagendi, Jane Menyuri, Florence Mosoti, the late Kennedy Nyabuti, Beatrice Ogembo, Lynette Ondeyo, Skefu Mosoti and Douglas, Justin, Harun, Omari among others.
Cousin of Ayayes, Nyamongos, Getunos, Masitas, Ogoris among others.
Brother-in law of Stephenson Nyandoro, the late Yarves Orina, Monica Obara, Prof. Nehemiah Nyaundi, Eng. Albert Mbaka, Dr. Joseph Kiyuka, Ruth Mogaka and Dr. Kennedy Nyaundi.
Grandfather of Jasper, Jasmine and Jade Gesaka, Ethan and Keziah Bett, Tyler Kamya, Carlo Maobe Contardo.
Family, relatives and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kenyamware Village. Nyamira County.
Fundraiser will be on Tuesday 19th August 2025 at 5.00pm, Nairobi Central SDA Church and a Funeral service to be held on Thursday 21st August 2025 at Lavington SDA Church.
The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Friday 22/8/25 to his home in Kenyamware Village. A Church Service will be held on Saturday 23rd August 2025 and burial service on Sunday 24/8/25.
