It is with the humble acceptance of God’s Will that we announce the promotion to glory of Elder Emily Liyala Otieno, formerly of Ministry of Education, which occurred on 23/01/2018 while undergoing treatment at Texas Cancer Center.
Wife of the late Prof. L.S. Otieno. Mother of Cedric, Conrad, Caroline, the late Calvin & Culbert. Grandmother of Deborah, David Leon, Joy, Christine, Joan, Zuri, Joshua & Joel. Mother-in-law of Esther, Jessica & Ariana. Daughter of the late Rachel Yayier Odongo & the late Abner Liyala. Daughter-in-law of the late Perpetua & the late Francis Muruto. Loving sister, cousin, aunt & friend to many.
Friends & relatives are meeting daily at her residence in Plainsview, South B.
The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on 8/02/2018 for a funeral service at Winners Chapel, Adam’s Arcade.
She will be laid to rest on 10/02/2018 at her home in Liganwa, Alego Usonga, Siaya County.
Sorry for your loss. Jehovah God knows exactly how we feel when we lose a loved in death especially since He has experienced it when He lost his only son Jesus in death.
He knows our pain and sorrow and has therefore promised to wipe out death forever as stated in Isaiah 25:8.
