Elder James Waweru Ndegwa

It is with humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the promotion to glory of Elder James Waweru Ndegwa on 17th May 2019.

Son of the late Ndegwa Githinji and the late Esther Wambui. Husband of Lydiah Wangu Waweru. Father of Kennedy Mwangi, Mercy Wambui, John Wamwea, Catherine Wairimu, Murimi Waweru, the late Cyrus Karani, Millicent Wanjira, Joyce Nyambura and Rose Waithira. Father-in-law of Irene Mwangi, Grace Wamwea, Esther Murimi, Nahashon Kangethe and Benedict Mutua.

Brother of the late Naomi VVangeshi, Lydiah Aoki Wakini and Michere Ndegwa. Grandfather of Elder James Njeri, Ruoro, Mutugi, Jim Michael, Carol, Jim, Fridah, Shiku, Muthii, Njao, Shiku M, the late Waweru Ndegwa Boni, Maxwell, Kevin, Tabby, Damarine, Dave, Valencia, Shawn and Jewel. Great-grandfather of Trevor, Precious, Abigael, Tiffany, Emmanuel, Ethan, Griffins and Ryan.

Family and friends are meeting daily at PCEA Umoja church and his Thunguri home.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Karatina on Tuesday 28th May at 8.00am for funeral service at PCEA Thunguri church Kiangai, Kirinyaga County at 10.00am, thereafter burial will follow at his Thunguri home.
