It is with thanksgiving that we celebrate the life of Elder Laban Kibuka Marang’a of PCEA St. Andrews Church, Nairobi, who transitioned to glory on Saturday 8th May, 2021, after a short illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Josphat Kibuka Ngugi and the late Miriam Nyatetu of Ihithe Village, Thegenge Location, Tetu Sub-county, Nyeri County. Dear husband of Leah Wairimu Marang’a. Doting father of Lilian Marang’a, Lucas and Nyawera Kibuka and Levi and Wairimu Machira. Loving grandfather of Zawadi, Nia, Rehema, Wairimu, Bakari, Marang’a, and Wambui. B

rother of the late Tabitha Wangui, Peter Ngugi, Jesse Ndungu, John Mwangi, Eunice Gitari, Lucy Kagori and Erastus Ngunguru. Son-in-law of the late Mr and Mrs Henry Machira Ngure. Brother-in-law of the late Mrs Grace Kirigo Muguongo, the late Charles Ngure Machira, Mrs Wamaitha Njoroge and the late Paul Wandeto Machira. A loving uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Prayers are being held at St. Andrews Church on Wednesday 12th May and Thursday 13th May from 5.00pm to 6:30pm.

A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday 17th May at the St. Andrews Church – Nairobi at 9.00am. He will be laid to rest thereafter at the Lang’ata Cemetery.
