Elder Margaret Mukwanjeru Muindi

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the demise of Elder Margaret Mukwanjeru Muindi which occurred on 2nd December 2018 at PCEA Chogoria Hospital.

Daughter of the late M’Riara and the late Jiondiri at Kiriani Murugi location Mara sub-county. Wife of the late Adiel Muindi. Mother of Alfred Miriti, (Former KNH Employee) Winfred Kanyua (Kiini), Ashford Mugambi (Weru), Harriet Muthoni (Kambandi Chuka) Kellen Kaari (Weru), Jane Gatakaa (Kangutu Chuka) and Charles Mutembei (KNH HR). Mother-in-law of Kellen Nyawira, the late Elias Miriti, Japhet Mutegi, Mbae Muthiga and Stella Wanjiru.

Sister of the late Leonard Gitari, Mbae, Kellen Kangai, Kaburu, the late Kobia, the late Kinyua, Catherine, Mutembei, Murithi and Kariuki. Grandmother of Anthony, Ann, Mwende, Makena, Mutugi, Mawira, Bundi, Gakii, Kathure, Kathoni, Mukami, Mwiti, Murithi, Makena, Jackson Waweru, Lewis. Great grandmother of eight (8).

Family and friends are meeting at her home Weru Village, Iriga Sub Location, Muthambi Location, Maara Sub County, Tharaka Nithi County daily. Also meetings are being held in Nairobi at Garden Square Restaurant, opposite Holy family minor Basilica from Wednesday 5th to Friday 7th December 2018.

The cortege will leave PCEA Chogoria Hospital mortuary on Tuesday 11th December 2018 for funeral service at PCEA Muraga church at 10.00am. She will be laid to rest at her home at Weru village thereafter.

Mom, you have fought the good fight, you have finished the race and know well you have kept the faith. Forever in our hearts.
