Death has occurred of Elizabeth Wanjiku Ngigi. 77 Years, Retired Teacher and Elder PC.E.A Church. She hails from Mwema Village, Kandani Sublocation, Kigumo Sub-County in Murang’a County. She died tragically on Wednesday 18th September 2019 at her home.

Wife of the late Mwalimu Samuel Ngigi Karangu. Daughter of the late Mr. Johanna Thuku and the late Mrs. Eunice Wanjiru Thuku. Her siblings include the late Solomon Ngigi, the late Harun Ndungu, Dorcas Thogori Gitau, the late Francis Kariuki, Evanson Mbugua, Harrisson Kimotho, Nancy Wanjira Kariuki, Monica Njeri and the late Eustus Muiruri. Loving mother of Judy Njoki; Nicholas and Wacera Kimani; James and Irene Thuku; Peter Mwaura; Solomon and Mary Nguni; Eunice Wanjiru; Moses and Wanjiku Mbau; Wakanu and Kamau; Wanginda and Amos; and Mercy Thogori. Grandmother of Peter, Samuel and Ruby Ndungu; Loise, Collins and Mark Kimani; Aphline and Karanja Thuku. Grandmother of Anne, Lauryn, Derrick and Cyrus Nguni; Miatu and Kamami Kamau; Linet, Jason & Stephany Kiragu; Ngigi And Mwaura Thogori. Great- Grandmother of Hope.

Funeral service, followed by burial, will take place on Friday 27th September 2019 at her home, Mwema Village, Kandani Off Kenol – Muranga Road.

The Cortege departs from Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home — Thika Road Branch (Near Kabala Township) at 8am. Service will commence at 10.00am.
