Elder Samuel Obel Ariwi

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elder Samuel Obel Ariwi formerly of Metronics Inc USA.

Son of the late Wellington Ariwi Amol and Mama Risper Owuonda Ariwi of Kital Village, Karachuonyo. Husband of Doris Atieno Obel formerly of UON Dental School. Father of the late James Obel, Christine Obel & Linda Odufuye (Minneapolis USA), George Obel (G4S Kenya). Uncle of James Otieno (USA), Anna Otieno (USA), Prof Isaac Ochieng (Egerton University), John Otieno Ogweno (Masaba Hospital), Roseline Ogweno. Father-in-law -of Tony Odufuye, Esther Obel, Mary Kadengy, Jacquiline Ondego, Felistas Okeyo among others.

Friends and family are meeting at All Saints Cathedral daily from 5:30-8.00pm for funeral arrangements. A fundraising will be held on January 25th 2018 at the same venue. For financial support, please use Paybill No.236805

The body is lying at Avenue Hospital Kisumu. Burial and funeral service will be held at his home in Kakwajuok Kendubay on 29th January 2018.
