Elder Simon Mungai Mburu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Elder Simon Mungai Mburu, which occurred on 18th July at PCEA Kikuyu Hospital while undergoing treatment after road accident.

Son of the late Henry Mburu Ngarachu and Tabitha Wangui Mburu. Husband of Hellen Kanyi Mungai. Father of Moses Mburu, Ann Wangui, Patrick Gatika and Stephen Gathuru. Father of Moses Mburu, Rachel Njoki, Benson Wanjohi, Ann Wangui, Patrick Gatika, Margaret Njeri and Stephen Gathuru. Brother in law to Paul Mbuthia Gatika. Grandfather of Sharon, Felix, Munene, Fiona, Kyle and, Wanjiru.

Brother of the late Stephen Gathuru, John Mburu, Mary Muthoni, Andrew Magu (UK), Margaret Wanjiru, Esther Wairimu (Sweden), Nicholas Kariuki, Susan Wanjiku, Philip Muthondu (SA) and Ruth Nduta. Son-in-law to the late Gabriel Gatika and the late Grace Nyambura Gatika of Gatundu-Mundoro. Uncle, friend and mentor of many.

Friends and family are meeting at his Home Kwa Haraka Kinangop, Kayole-Naivasha and Sagas hotel along thika road every evening at 6.00pm for burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves KU funeral home on Thursday 26th July 2018 at 6am. Burial will take place at his farm, Kwa haraka, Kinangop, Nyandarua County.
