Elder Virginia Njeri Mburu

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of Elder Virginia Njeri Mburu of Kanjai Village, Ngewa Location Githunguri Division Kiambu County. She was a teacher at Garden Primary School Nairobi and Elder at PCEA Kanjai Church.

Wife of Samuel Mburu Muchai (Nelliwa Builders and Civil Engineers Limited). Daughter of Jecinter Wangui Chege. Mother of Everline Wangui (Dream Credit Limited) and Michael Muchiri of Machakos University. Sister of the late Catherine Wangari, Patricia. Wangeci Mwaura (Mama Yvonne of Murang’a Town). Sister-in-law of Elijah Mwaura Gichuhi (Murang’a Children Office) and the entire Muchai Family of Kanjai Githunguri. Step-mother of Irene Wambui Craig Fairclough, Susan Wairimu Kariuki (Jacaranda Hotel), Zipporah Nduta Mburu (Kenya Airways), Njeri Mburu (Bright Ways Travel and Tours Limited). Niece of Herman Mwangi of Kangema.

Prayers are being held at her home in Kanjai Village Githunguri daily from 4 o’clock.

The cortege leaves Mukoe Funeral Home Githunguri on Tuesday 12th March, 2019 at 8 o’clock followed by funeral service at PCEA Kanjai Church from 10 o’clock, thereafter, the burial will be held at her home in Kanjai Village.
