Eliud Kihoro Ngunjiri

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion cc glory of Eliud Kihoro Ngunjiri on 9th March 2021 at the Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral & Research Hospital, after a short illness bravery borne. He was the founder and Executive Director of RODI Kenya. He was the founding chairman of the SACDEP Board of Trustees till his demises.
Son of the late Ngunjiri wa Wakantu and the late Nyambura Ngunjiri of Of Rongai, Nakuru County. Son in law of late Peter Tene Gachiengu and Serah Watiri of Mauaraini, Mole. Loving and devoted husband of Tabitha Nyakio. He raised three awesome sons, Nguniin Kihoro (PELUM-K), Peter Tene Kihoro (Business man) and Dennis Kihoro (RODI Kenya).
Brother of the late John Mwangi Ngunjiri, Geoffrey Gathuma Ngunjiri and Erastus Maina Ngunjiri. Brother in law to the late Veronicah Njeri, Ruth Afandi, Zipporah Kaumeuru. Grandfather of Lawrence Augustine Kihoro Ngunjiri, Adrian Peter Ngunjiri and Nathan Ndiri. Cousin, uncle and mentor to many.
Family, Friends and colleagues are meeting daily at RODI Kenya Centre in Varsityville Estate, off Eastern by-pass, near Kamakis, entrance at Delta petrol station from 5:30pm to 7:30pm and Sunday from 3.00 pm. to 6.00 pm. Link https://goo.gl/maps/fhNa7X7cUSgvMjrQ8.
The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Memorial funeral Home on 16th March 2021 at 9.00am for a funeral service at RODI Center starting at 10.00 am where he will be laid to rest.

I will always remember Ngunjiri with great love in my heart, respect for his intellect and hard work, and a smile as I think of how he vibrantly he loved the dance of life. Rest In Peace, dear man.

I have love in my heart as I remember Ngunjiri’s great energy for the dance of Life, his huge intellect and hard work, and the many adventures we shared in Pokot Land, many decades ago. He contributed so much to make this world better. Rest In Peace, dear friend.
