Eliud Wang’ombe Gakuo
It is with deep sorrow and humble submission to God’s will that the Kenya Methodist University (KeMU) hereby announces the demise of Mr. Eliud Wang’ombe Gakuo on 8th October 2019. Mr. Gakuo was a Cytologist in the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences at KeMU.
Son of John Gakuo Mugo & Mary Nyawira. Brother of Paul, Naomi, Kuria, Kamau and Wambugu. Son in-law of David Kamande and Teresia Kamande. Loving husband of Margeret Waithera Wang’ombe. Father of Marylynn Nyawira Wang’ombe (Mwimbi Boarding), Elvis Gakuo Wangombe (Kathigiri boarding) and Eliel Kamande Wangombe. Among other great things, Mr. Gakuo was a great uncle, a colleague, a mentor and a friend to many.
A memorial service will be held at KeMU Chapel at Main Campus on Monday 14th October 2019 from 8:00 am and the burial ceremony will be held at his home in Kithoka farm on Tuesday 15th October 2019.
