ELIZABETH FAITH ONUKO, Acting Labour Commissioner, Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Protection

It is with profound grief and sorrow that we announce the passing away of Mrs. Elizabeth Faith Onuko, Acting Labour Commissioner for the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Protection on 14 December 2020 at The Nairobi Hospital.

She was the loving wife to Julius Osumo Onuko, loving mother to Dottie Onuko, Christine Onuko, Gillianne Onuko and Olga Onuko.

Daughter to the late Nelson Zadock Otieno and the late Christine Olga Akoth Otieno of Mur Ngiya,Alego in Siaya County. Loving Sister to Beneah Onyango, James Leonard, Rose Apiyo, the late John Odongo, Grace Akinyi Otieno, the late Daniel Otieno and Torn Joseph Omondi her twin brother. Sister in-law to Amb. Sospeter Mageto, Late David Matunda, Alfayo Nyakoe, Moraa Mageto, Loice Matunda,Veronicah Onuko, Sibia Bosibori, Eunice Kerubo, Paulina Bochaberi , the late Mary, Monica Nyanchama, Pamela Nyaboe, and a loving Aunt to many.

Family, relatives and friends are meeting daily for burial arrangements at their residence in Kilimani, Likoni Ridge Apartments, Nairobi.

There will be a funds drive on Monday 21st December 2020 at 680 Hotel as from 4pm.

The burial will be held at her home West Mugirango, Bomabacho Sub Location, Monga Village, Nyamira County on Thursday. 24th December 2020 from 9am to 1pm.

The Requiem service will take place to celebrate her life on Tuesday 22nd December 2020 at Maxwell SDA Church opposite Integrity Centre from 2pm.
