It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Elizabeth Gathigia Mageria of Gikororo Village, Mathira, Karatina.

Loving mother to Patrick & Veronica Mageria of Gathambi, Kirinyaga; Ferdinanda & Charles Ngaragari; Lawrence & Mercy Mwangi, Jane Kagendo (Principal St. Jude Mugunda Secondary) & Zachary & Margaret Muriuki.

Sister to Mary Kahuthu, Julius Kanyiri, Agatha Wanjugu, Lucy Miano,Teresa Muriithi and the late Mary Njeru, the late Edward Githinji & the late Joseph Matimu.

Grandmother to Gichuki, Pascquelina, Juliet, Harry, Bonnie, Claire, Eva, Martin, Wambui, Daniella, Stephanie, Kelvin, Kabugi, Elizabeth (Cee) & Purity Wanjiku. Great-grandmother to many.

Burial will be held on Friday 12th August, 2022. The cortege leaves Karatina District Hospital Mortuary at 9:00am followed by a church service from 10:00arn at PCEA Gikororo Church and thereafter burial rites will be held at her home in Gikororo Village, Mathira.
