It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing away of Mrs. Elizabeth Komen of OI’rongai, Menengai West, Nakuru on 21st April, 2021.

Daughter of the late Hon. Charles Murgor & Salina Murgor of Kaptebee, Turbo, Uasin Gishu. Daughter-in-law of the late Kibowen Komen and the late Kogo Talai of Njoro. Loving wife of the late Hon. William Komen (former MP Rongai). Mother of Patricia, Sheila (Malawi) Raymond and Kibet Adorable grandmother of many.

Mother-in-law of Fiona and Mary. Sister of the late John, Sr. Bendina (Mt. Camel), Austin, Bernadette, among many others. Sister-in-law of the late Samson, Mohammed, Micah, Beatrice, Bernard, Catherine, Agatha and Toroitich. Cousin of Hon. Dr. James Murgor – MP Keiyo North, Brig. (Rtd) Francis, Florence, Chemutai, among many others.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home on Tuesday 27th April, 2021 at 7.00am for a requiem mass and burial at the home, Menengai farm Ol’rongai. Due to government restrictions for in person gathering and the MoH protocols on burials, the final send off will be streamed live on Nakuru TV on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter and can be watched on www.nakuru.tv.
