Elizabeth Mumbi Muriithi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs Elizabeth Mumbi Muriithi, daughter of the Late Peter and Mukami Wokabi. Wife of the late Philip Muriithi Kibaki.

Loving Mother of Mary Philipa, the late Alex Kibaki,Teresia Wanjiku,Wokabi Muriithi, Maina Muriithi, Ndegwa Muriiithi, H.E Governor Ndiritu Muriithi, Wangui Muriithi, Gitonga Muriithi and Mwai Muriithi. Grandmother of Elizabeth Obiero, Betty Kamau, Philip Wokabi, Philip Maina, Mumbi Ndegwa, Githinji Ndiritu, Muthoni Kamau, Githinji Gitonga and Muriithi Mwai amongst others. Sister of Wambui and Wangari and sister in law of His Excellency Former President Mwai Kibaki and Waitherero amongst others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at the following venues; Jimrock Restaurant in Nyahururu, Homeland Lounge Nairobi and Emess Hotel next to Equity bank Nanyuki at 6.00prn. Prayers are being held at the family home in Shamanei daily from 3.00pm.

A requiem mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Karuga on Thursday at 11.00am and a Burial service and internment will take place at the Family Home in Shamanei on Friday 15th September at 10.00am.
