Elizabeth Nduta Mwaura

It is with deep sorrow we announce the sudden death of our beloved Elizabeth Nduta Mwaura of UN Mission in Darfur, Sudan (UNAMID).

Wife of the late Harrison Kangethe Mwaura. Mother of Nicholas Mwaura (Australia), Dr. Brenda Kangethe – Semindei and Joanne Gathoni. Mother-in-law of Dr. Semindei Kamande. Grandmother of Daniel, Shaun, Nicole, Malaika, Soila, Zainab, Saruni. Daughter of Samuel and Hannah Ngugi. Daughter-in-law of the late James Kangethe and late Violet Mwaura. Sister of Lucy Wangui, Rosemary McFarlane (US), Geoffrey Nganga (US), David Waiganjo, Grace Njeri (US), Moses Kamau and Isaac Maina (Australia). Sister-in-law of Sarah Gathirimu, Jedidah Wanjiru (US), Florence Wairimu, Wilfred Ndungu, the late Kaguai, the late Nyaga, James Njunge, Joyce Njango. Joseph Kangethe, Wanjiku Ndarwa, Maina, Kaguai, Waithera, Hindu, Kuria and the late Kimani.

Prayer meetings are being held at their residential house at Kitisuru, and their home at Lusigetti, Kikuyu near Karai Secondary School.

The cortege leaves Kikuyu Hospital on Friday, 1st November at 9 am and funeral will follow at Lusigetti, Kikuyu.
