Elzeba Jepkemboi Kokwon

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing on of Elzeba Jepkemboi Kokwon of Bepyemit Village, Kabartonjo Ward, Baringo County which occurred on April 22nd, 2021 at Eldoret Hospital after a short illness. Until her death, she was an employee of Kenya Pipeline Company – Eldoret Branch.

Daughter of Solomon Kokwon and the late Salina Kobilo Kokwon of Root Village – Kabartonjo. Loving wife of the late Joshua Amdany of Kabartonjo. Beloved mother of Eddy Jebichii, Cynthia Jemutai and Elvis Kiplagat. Daughter-in-law of Mr. Abraham Cheptumo and the late Susana Cheptumo of BebyemitVillage – Kabartonjo.

Sister of the late Rose Bartoson, Josephine Bartoson (Mogotio), Dorcas Bartoson (Eldoret), Mercy Bartoson (Kaptagat), Robert Bartoson (Eldoret) and Judy Bartoson (Nakuru). Cousin of the family of Kipkulei Rutto, Chesaro Kokwon, Kiptoon Kokwon, Stephen Kokwon, the late Cherulmoo, Kipkosgei Chelagat, the late Kipkechem Kibetyon, the late Kosgei’s, Joseph Yano, Rotich Kipkemei, David Chesire and the late Kiptobus Cheptoo.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at her home in Bebyemit Village – Kabartonjo and in Eldoret – Kimumu (Chipsy Road) for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Morgue, on Wednesday, April 28th, 2021 at 7:00am, for a service and burial at her home in Bebyemit Village – Kabartonjo.
