Daughter of Francis Ndungu Mbucha, Zipporah Wambui Ndungu and Esther Waruguru Ndungu. Beloved wife of the late Cleophas Gicharu Kirungu. Co-wife of Esther Njoki Gicharu. Mother of the late Catherine Waithira, Anne Wambui Githakwa and John Githakwa, Peter Kirungu and Beatrice Wangari, the late Peter Ndungu, late Susan Wairimu, Lucy Muthoni and Samuel Muchura, Moses Chege and Julie Wanjiru. Step-mom of the late Zainab Waithera, Geoffrey Gicharu Kirungu and Esther, Susan Wanjiku and Benard, the late Peter Kirungu Gicharu and Jane, Harriet Wairimu and Judy Gathoni.

Sister of John Mbucha Ndungu formerly of Barclays Bank, Lucia Muthoni Mathu, Mary Njambi Kuira, Hannah Nyambura, Beatrice Wairimu Kinyanjui, Milka Wanjiru, Virginia Wanjiku, the late Veronica Njeri, David Mbucha, late Wangari, Kamau, Njoroge, Kinuthia, Njambi, the late Wairimu and Ngugi. Grandmother of Irene, Victor, Grace, Jackline, Judy, Joshua, Sharon, Seaun, Brian, Ashley, Cindy and others.

Friends and family are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at her home in Njoro industrial Area and Njokerio Farm from 5.00pm, and at Kokeb Nakuru on Tuesday and Wednesday from 6.00pm.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home Nakuru on Friday 19th July, 2019 at 9.00am for a memorial service at her home in Njokerio Farm, Njoro and the burial thereafter at the same location.
