Emmy Jepkoech Kibenot

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Emmy Jepkoech Kibenot of Kilingot Village, Ossen Location of Baringo County, which occurred on 11th May, 2021, at St. Luke Hospital, Eldoret after a long illness. Until her demise, Emmy was a Teacher at Pemwai Girls High School in Baringo County.

Daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Sammy Kibenot of Ngolong Village, Baringo County. Beloved wife of Joseph Kurwo of Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KERRA), Nakuru County. Together, they were blessed with three children namely: Jesang, Timothy and Dan (all of AIC Ebenezer Academy, Kabarnet). Sister of Janet, Gideon, Laban, Joan, Maxine, Patrick and Denis. Sister-in-law of Elima, Martha, Kibet, Nancy, Mathew, Oscar and Nelly. Uncle are Mariko, the late Kipyegon, Jeremiah and Haron. Her aunts are late Kabon, late Pascalina, the late Sarah, Martha Kabon, Loice, Rael, Eunice, Martha Kobilo.

Family, relatives and friends are meeting daily at Kaptimbor, Kabarnet Town and Kilingot home, for prayers and funeral arrangements, which will take place on Thursday 20th May, 2021 at Kilingot Village Ossen Location, Baringo County. The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Mortuary, on Thursday 20th May, 2021 at 8.00am, or funeral service and burial at their Kilingot home in Ossen, Baringo North Sub-County.
