Eng. Anthony Maina Kariuki

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the demise of Eng. Anthony Maina Kariuki (formerly of Kenlnvest, NEMA & Ministry of Water Development) which occurred on the 5th August 2018 at Mama Lucy Hospital after a tragic road accident on the Eastern bypass.

Son of Mary Nyambura Kariuki and the late Elizaphan Kariuki Gikaria. Husband of Rosalind Kimani of NLC. Father of Esther Waithira Maina and Kariuki Maina of JKUAT, Karen campus. Brother of F.K. Kariuki, Beatrice Wangu, David W. Kariuki formerly of Standard Chartered Bank, Judy Rindi, Julius Murage Kariuki of KRA, Jane Wangui Kabiru of Jubilee Insurance, Elizabeth Wanjiru of Standard Investment Bank and the late Bernard Muturi.

Son-in-law of Esther Waithira Kimani of Mangu, Gatundu North and the late James Kimani Njuguna. Brother-in-law of Eunice Kinuthia (Nakuru) and Lucy Ngina (Ruiru), Perpetua Wamai Standard Chartered Bank Yaya Branch and Helen Wanjira of Peponi School. Cousin of the Kagundas’, Kanyiris’, Wanjiru Gikarias’, Kareithias’, Kabaris’and the Nelson Ndirangu Family. An uncle of many.

The cortege will depart from Kenyatta University Mortuary on Friday 10th August 2018 at 7a.m Funeral service will be held at Kagarii Primary School grounds Mukurweini Sub-County, Nyeri County. Burial will be held at the family home thereafter.

Funeral meetings are taking place daily at the All Saints Cathedral from 6p.m.
