Eng. Florensyo Apondi Okotchi

It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Eng. Florensyo Apondi Okotchi (Rtd. Eng., Ministry of Water and Irrigation) on 23/11/2018 following a short illness at Mater Hospital.

Son of the late Paul Nanguma and Anna Aloo. Loving husband Mrs Margaret Okotchi. Dedicated father of Cynthia Okotchi, Leonora Okotchi, Kevina Odoyo, Brian Okotchi and Ronald Okotchi. Father-in-law of Boniface Wanyonyi. Daniel Odoyo, Valentine Mito. Grandfather of Allan Ogema, Linus Odoyo, Abigael Wanyonyi, Alvis Wanyonyi, Harry Florensyo, Joshua Owino and Daniel Odoyo.

Friends and relative are meeting daily at his residence in Sichirai Sub-location, Kakamega County.

The cortege leaves Kakamega Teaching and Referral Hospital on 6/ 12/2018 for an overnight stay at his residence in Sichirai before proceeding to his home village in Busia County, Budalangi Sub-county, Sifugwe village on 7/12/2018.

Burial will be on 8/12/2018.
