Eng. Jerome Waribu Macharia

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Eng. Jerome Macharia Waribu which occurred in the early hours of Monday 14th October 2019.

Son of the late Ezekiel Waribu and Dominica Wairimu. Beloved husband of Jane Wangechi Macharia and cherished Father of Edwin Gitau Waribu, Sylvia Wairimu Muturu, Grace Nyambura Macharia and the late Pauline Waithera Macharia. Father in-law of Elijah Muturu Mbacia, proud grandfather of Andrew Mbacia and many others who called him Guka.

Brother of the late Belina Mwaura, Anne Wamae, the late Sinfrosa Wathoni, Teresa Wanjiku and Concepta Kamau. Celebrated uncle and brother in law of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at their home in Murang’a, St. Mary’s, opposite Murang’a High School.There will be meetings in Nairobi from Wednesday 16th to Friday 18th October at All Saints Cathedral from 5.30pm.

The memorial service and burial will be on Saturday 19th October 2019 in his Murang’a home from 11am. Family and friends meet at Motezuma Monalisa Funeral home, Thika Road Branch opp Shell Kabati at 8.30am. Cortege leaves at 10am.

To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord. Enjoy your great reward in heaven mighty man of valor!
