It is with profound sorrow and sadness that we announce the sudden death of Eng Sammy Mwangi Mburu, formerly the CEO National Water Harvesting and Storage Authority, which occurred on Monday 10-02-2020.
Son of Zacharia Mburu Mwangi and the late Lydiah Njeri. Son-in-law of the late Antony Kaharuka and Tabitha Nyaguthii. Husband of Agnes Nyawira Mwangi (mama Mburu), formerly of Botswana. Father of Mr Mburu Mwangi. Brother of Beth Wambui. Jane Wanjiru, John Kimani, Ruth Waithera and the late Peter Irungu. Brother-in-law of Kinyua, Muturi, Kahahu, Maina, the late Njoki, the late Gitonga, Munyiri, Wairimu, the late Muhindi, Mithamo, Nyakinyua, Waithaka and Kioni. Cousin, Uncle and Grandfather of many.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Mugumo Estate – Kiambu, All Saints Cathedral (ACK) and at his ancestral home at Kiganjo Ol – Kalau starting at 5-8pm everyday.
The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Thursday 20-02-2020 at 7:00am, for church and funeral service to be held at his ancestral home, Kiganjo Ol Kalau, Nyandarua County.

I met him as an intern at LVSWSB where he was Technical Manager, the two yrs and half i spent there was superb under his stewardship as my TM. Will forever missed.
