Ephantus Ngugi Gathuru

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Ephantus Ngugi Gathuru which occurred on Tuesday, January 15th 2019.

Son of the late George Gathuru Githuka and the late Loise Gakima Gathuru. Beloved husband of Anastasia Wangui Ngugi Loving father of Jackson Gathuru Ngugi, Daina Gakima Ngugi and Alexander Kimani Ngugi. Father in-law of Upekesha Addagalla and Caroline Wambui. Brother of the late John Githuka, the late Victoria Nieri, Alfred Waiganio, the late Janet Muthoni, Fred Nganga, Margaret Waniiru, Salome Wangui, Lucy Wanjiku and the late Mary Nyokabi. Grandfather of Brianna and Sydney. Son in-law of the late John Kimani, the late Egla Waruguru and Jane Wamaitha Kimani. Brother in-law of Mary Merl, Teresia Miruga, Paul Nganga, Charles Nganga, Sister Esther Merl, Faith Wambui and Moses Kangethe.

Friends and relatives will be meeting at the family residence in Ongara Rongai and at his parent’s home in Gatanga for prayers as well as funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral on Monday January 21st 2019 with the funeral service and burial thereafter at his parent’s home in Gatanga.
