Ephraim Maina Githinji

With gratitude to God we wish to announce the demise of Mr. Ephraim Mains Githinji that occurred on 12th March 2018 after a long illness.

Son of the late Antonio Githinji Gikandi and the late Regina Wanjiru Githinji. Son in-law of the late Nicodemus Kiugo and Monica Gathoni. Loving husband of Priscilla Hugiru Maina. Caring father of Regina, Monica, Margaret, Anthony, Serah, Grace and Esther. Father in law of Zachary, John and Mary. Brother of Njeri, the late Gathoni, Wangeci, Ngari, the late Mbiga, Njoki, Munene, Nyawira and the late Charles. Doting grandfather of Diana, John, Frank, Nicole, Lincoln, Sabella and Lewis.

Special thanks to Dr. P Ngugi, Dr Sally Kariuki and nurse Purity who cared for him throughout his sickness. Family and friends are meeting at his home in Kirinyaga, at Ruiru (Zachary’s home) and at Alpha hotel in Nairobi.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University funeral home on Wednesday 21st March 2018 at 7.30 am. Burial will take place in Mururi-ini village, Ndia division.
