It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Erick Kagathi Waithaka of Donholm Savannah Phase I Estate, on 7th May, 2021.

Loving son of Col. (Rtd. Martha E. Njeri Waithaka). Son in-law of Joshua Njati Mainge and Teresia Kaimuri Tharamba. Loving husband of Regina Kubai Kagathi of Diwopa Health Centre. Loving brother of Collins Waithaka Mbugua, Father of Givens Karimi, Nixon Kibe, Joylline Wanjiru and Ethan Kimani.

Dear Nephew of the late Michael Mwangi Wachira and Mary Wanjiru Wachira. Loving cousin of the late Cyrus Wachira Mwangi, Erick Kagathi Mwangi, Jennifer Nyambura Mwangi, Elizabeth Wangui Wachira (US), Joseph Kimani, Patricia Wairimu Mwangi, Caroline Wanjiru, Idah Wangari, Grace Kunyinyi among many others.

Loving brother-in-law of Moses Mbogo, Samuel Mbugua Wambaa, Cynthia Chebet Waithaka, Cynthia Mwikali Kagathi, Betty Wanjiku, the late Martin Njati, Daniel Mugambi, Sabers Kagwiria, Lucy Kanunu, Benjamin Kinyua, Lumiri Njati, Muchoi Njati, Karimi Njati. A great uncle of Amani, Chioke, Tamaara, Jasmine, Jelani, Latoya, Jason, Chelagat, Chirana, Mike, Wachira, Wanjiru, Chneza, Jared, Liam, August, Doreen, Josphat, Joy, Ken and Rony.

The memorial service will be on Thursday 13th May at 3.00pm in PEFA – Donholm.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Saturday 15/05/2021 at 7:00am. Burial will be held in Wiyumirerie, Subukia, Nakuru County.
