It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden death of retired teacher Ernest Areba Magembe which occured on 28/08/17 after short illness.

Son of the late Maurice Magembe and Teresa Magembe of Kiongongi, Kebogoye Village and also Tendere Kemboa village. Loving husband of Mary Mogotu. Father of Josephine Bonareri (Telecom), Kennedy Orioki, Beatrice Rabera (Nrb), Irene Mokeira (SCMN-Kegati Secondary), Esther Mwango (TSC), Dennis Kembero (USA), Noreen Nyangate (TSC), Grace Moraa (LVCT),Doroty Kerubo (National Spinal Injury), Moses Magembe (NCA) and the late Dolly. Brother of Zachary, Peter, Mary, Henry (deceased),Andrew, Lucy, Momanyi (deceased), Mames, Pauline, Robina, Mark (deaceased), Samuel, Sr Sabina (deceased), Alex and Moraa. Father-in-law of Dr. Joash Kerongo (Kisii University), James Nyaoga (Clerk Kisii County Assembly), Macharia (Ruiru), Mathews Nyakora (KBC), Julius Atambo (Ngong Sub-County Hospital), Alice Kerubo, Gladys Nelia, and Risper Lolishiat. Korera of John Kerongo, Nyakora Obinchu, Joseph Lolishiat, Nyaoga Nchore, Paul Atambo. Grandfather of Charity, Cynthia, Harriet, Clinton, Glen, Diana, Favour among others.

The cortege leaves Hema on 14/09/17 and mass at Ogembo Parish. Burial will be on 15/09/17 at his home in Tender Kemboa Village.
