It is with humble acceptance to God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of teacher (Rtd) Esther Mumbua Kanyumu Makau, former teacher Kango Primary School.

Daughter of the late Timothy Munyao and Annah Kasiva. Wife of Joseph Kanyumu Makau. Mother of Anthony Mutuku, Rosemary Mueni, Michael Muema and Thomas Wambua. Grandmother of Lynn Mwongeli, Gloria Mumbua, Victor Kanyumu, Vincent Mutinda, Esther Mumbua, Emmanuel Muunde, Annet Mutanu, Liam Makau and Alvin Makau. Sister of the late Samuel Kyalo, Josephine Mutindi, Benjamin Munyao, Joseph King’oku, Doreen Nthenya, the late Miriam Ndanu, Regina Muthoki, Justus Mutua and Eunice Muoti.

Daughter-in-law of the late Philip Makau Musyimi and the late Esther Mwethya. Sister-in-law of the late John Makau, the late Nashon Maithya, the late Monicah Muthiani, Paul Ndambuki, Teresiah Musau, the late Rachael Wangui, Dorcas Ndinda, Elizabeth Mbithe, Florence Ndanu, Beatrice King’oku, Boniface Kisyang’a and Boniface Muteti. Mother-in-law of Dorcas Maria, Partal Muunde, Rosaline Makena and Mary Nduku.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalissa Funeral Home- Machakos on 6th January 2018 at 9:00 am for funeral service at Sacred Heart Kamweleni Catholic Church after which the burial will take place at her home Kango Village, Tulimani Location, Mbooni west Sub-county, Makueni County.
