Esther Njeri Kahonge

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Esther Njeri Kahonge on the 22nd of February 2019 after a short illness bravely borne.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph Kahonge Kinoru (Joe). Much adored mother of Mwaura and Muthoni Kahonge (Stretch-Tech Computers), Kahugi and Mueni Kahonge, Sam Kahonge and Melany Wanjiru Kahonge and Alfin Mburu.

Doting grandmother of Njeri and Nyambura Mwaura, Njeri and Ngina Kahugi, Shalom Muthoni and Alfln Mburu junior. Daughter of the late Kahugi Gituro and the late Muthoni Kahugi.

Sister of the late Nyambura Watene, Gituro Kahugi (Mombasa), Wangui Muthana, Wambui Mwangi, Waithera Mwangi, Kuria Kahugi, Njuguna Kahugi, Njoroge Kahugi, Wanja Nyota and Joan Wairimu.

Step sister of the Kahugi’s of Kanjai and the Kahugi’s of Njiru. In-law of the Gichimu’s and the Kisuna’s of Kitale. An aunty, cousin, and in-law to many.

Friends and family are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements at her home from 6pm to 8pm daily, there will be a fundraiser at her home on Wednesday 27th of February. Contributions are being kindly received on paybill number 909457 (Stretch-Tech Computer Account number Esther Kahonge.

The funeral service will be held at CITAM Karen on 1st March 2019 followed by interment at Langata Cemetry thereafter.
