Esther Njeri Mugo (Mamu)

It is with great humility and humble acceptance of God’s will chat we announce the peaceful rest of Esther Njeri Mugo (Mamu) on Saturday 31st August 2019, due to a sudden illness.

Daughter of the late Mr & Mrs Moses Kamau. She was the beloved wife of the late Leonard Mugo Kinuthia. A loving mother of Mwalimu Njuguna & Ruth Caroline Wangari Mugo (Hentran’s Commercial Agencies Ltd, Thika) & Mercy Mugo (Hartfield Gardens, Karen).

Grandmother of Nelson Mutugi, Faith Njeri, Antony Muturi and Shamim Njeri and many more. Great grandmother of Mwangi & Makena Mutugi. Sister of Racheal Wanjiru, Nelly Thandi, the late David Muchene, Jane Nyanjugu, James Mbai (Brookside Dairy), Beatrice Mutugi and Tabitha Nduta. Sister-in-law of Bernard Thandi, Margaret Mbai, the late James Mutugi, William Kinyanjui & Susan Njeri, Erastus & Joyce Murua, Jane & John Njunge, Livingstone & Mary Wamagata, Anne & Peter Rugu, Esther Mugure, Lilian Njeri & Nancy & Steve Nene. She was an Auntie and friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements at her Thogoto home.

The funeral service will be held on 6th September 2019.The cortege shall leave PCEA Kikuyu Funeral Home Thogoto at 9:00am for the funeral service which will take place at PCEA Church of the Torch, Thogoto. Service will commence at 10:00 am and thereafter the burial will take place at PCEA Church Cemetery near Alliance Girls.

Mummy, Shosh, Shosh maitu, Friend we loved you, but God loved you more.
