Wife of the late Geoffrey Njogu Ndegwa (Wang’ombe) of Gichigaini, Karatina, Nyeri County. Daughter of the late Karingithi and Ndimi. Sister of late Jotham Miano and late Gilbert Thinji (Kiaruhiu). Cousin of Cecilia Nyaguthii Muriuki of Kiangaii Karatina among others. Auntie of many.

Mother of Nelson Ndegwa (USA) & Agnes Ndegwa (USA) & Gladys Ndegwa (USA), Caroline Muigai & Col. (Rtd) Stephen Muigai, Purity Wanjiru Njenga & Late Robert Njenga Mbugua, Late Patrick Karingithi & Lucy Karingithi, Millicent Wandia Mugo & Mugo Ruthiru, Crispus Muriuki, Mercy Wairimu & Pius Thiga (USA). Step mother of Grace Mumbi Waweru and Nelson Waweru (USA) and others.

Grandmother and great grandmother of many.

Cortege leaves Jamii Hospital in Karatina on Friday 4th September, 2020 at 9.00am for funeral service and burial at her home in Gichigaini village, Karatina, Nyeri County.
