Esther Wambogo Amos

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we celebrate promotion to glory of Esther Wambogo Amos at Our Lady of Launders Mwea Hospital on Thursday 4th April, 2019.

Daughter of Weru Njerera and Kanini wa Murwanginyi. Sister of Jona Kariuki, the late Musa Njagi, Robert Kamaria, Anna Wanjiru wa Joshua, Joseph Njeru, Prisca Njura wa Gatuku and Espendita Kanyi wa Chadi. Wife of the late Bro. in Christ Amos Nyaga Njanja. Beloved mother of the late Tukiko Muthee, Felice Wandia, the late Prof. Azariah Nyaggah, the late Lydiah Muthanje, James Njagi Nyaggah (USA), Zipporah Rwamba, Jane Ruguru (USA), Naomi Wandia and Johnson Nyaggah (NHIF). She was mother in law of Loise Thira, Gachenge Mugo, Lynette Nyaggah (USA). Anne Nyaggah (USA),Pius Nyaga (USA), John Ngware, Njeru Mbutii and Harriet Kanyua, She was grandmother, great-grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangement at her home at Nthunguri village, Gicherori sub – location, Kibugu location, Nginda Division of Ernbu County.

The cortege will leave Gakwegori Funeral home on Tuesday 16th April 2019 at 8:00am for church service at ACK St Matthews’ Church- Ndunduri to be held from 9:00 am. The body shall be laid to rest at her home thereafter.
