Esther Wambui Waweru (Mama Daniel)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our Mum Esther Wambui Waweru (Mama Daniel), on 09/01/2023 on her way to hospital in Nyahururu. She hailed from Shamata Village in Nyahururu.

She formerly worked with Ministry of Health in Embu, Isiolo, Machakos, Maralal, Nakuru, Gilgil, Kangundo and Gatundu.

Daughter to the late Naftali Warui Wanjohi and Wanjira Warui.

Wife to John Waweru Wainaina. Mother to Daniel Wainaina (KCC), Peter Warui, Mary Wangui (Trademark East Africa), Francis Muiyuro and Elisha Wanjohi. Mother-in-law to Alex Ndungu & Mary Daniel. Grandmother to Wambui, Joy, Ngugi, Shekinah.

Friends and family are meeting daily at their home in Shamata and Blue Springs Hotel, along Thika Road, every evening.

The cortege leaves St. Benedict XVI Hospital – Nyahururu on the 17th January, 2023 for the burial service at her home in Shamata Village, Nyahururu.
