Esther Wangari Njuguna

It is with profound sadness that we announce the promotion to glory of Esther Wangari Njuguna (WaKarugu).

Daughter of Rudia Ng’endo and the late Paul Karugu. Wife of the late Francis Njuguna. Mother of Lenny Karugu and Faith Wangari, Priscillah Njeri and James Kiama, Nancy Ng’endo. Sister of Ruth and Charles Muchiri, the late Samuel and Esther Muriithi, Martha and Samuel Wanjohi, the late John and Monica Kimotho, Peris Wangechi, Simon and the late Lydia Wambugu, the late Julius and Wacuka Mwangi, Peter and Julia Wachira, Jeremiah and Jane Ngwiri, the late Mary Muthoni, Karanja Karugu and Monica Karanja, the late Rebecca Wanjiru.

Daughter-in-law of John Gichuru and the late Priscilla Njeri. Sister-in-law of Joseph and Naomi Ngethe, Lucy Nduta, Francis and Margaret Kamau, George and Rose Waweru, Wanjiru and Ndungu Kimani, Samuel and the late Margaret Muturi, James and Wangari Mwaura, the late Benard and Nyambura Chege. Grandmother of Natasha, Frank, Tichina, Kayden, Francis, among others. Cousin, Aunt and dear friend of many.

Friends and family are meeting at her Thindigua residence daily from 5:30pm.

There’ll be Interdenominational prayers on Sunday 21st October from 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves K.U. Funeral Home at 9am for Funeral Mass at St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church —Thindigua along Kiambu Road, at 10.00am on 23rd Oct 2018 and burial thereafter at her home in Thindigua.
