It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Esther Wanjira Macharia on 24th October, 2019 after a short illness. She was a teacher in Cannon Njumbi Mutira Secondary School.

Daughter of the late Joseph Macharia and Leah Muthoni Macharia. Loving wife of Stephen Macharia Thiaka and Mother of Francis Murimi (Dedan Kimathi University Student) and Eunice Wakio (JKUAT Student). Sister of the late Charles Maina, Mary Wamuyu, David Munyiri, Ann Nyaguthi Wambura and John Kinyua. Sister-in-law of Josphine Wambui, Mrs Chomba,Wanjiku,Wandia, Stanley Njagi Munene, Kinyua, Wanjira, Wanja, Faith and Harriet.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily from 4:00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements at her home in Njogu-ini, Mutira Location Kirinyaga County.

The cortege leaves ACK Mt. Kenya Hospital Funeral Home, Kerugoya on 1st November, 2019 at 9:30am for funeral Service at her home in Njogu-ini, Mutira Location.
