It is with deep sorrow, humility and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Eunice Chelangat Langat, staff of Ukulima Sacco Society Limited, Kisii Branch which occurred on 1st February, 2024 at Nightingale Hospital Kisumu.

Daughter to the late Julius Chumo and Sarah Chumo. Step daughter to Leah Chumo (Cheboin) and Leah Chumo (Nandi).

Loving wife to Reuben Langat (Kericho County Government), Co. Wife to Hellen Langat. Mother to Faith, Emmanuel, Collins, Maureen, Jackline and Daisy.

Daughter-in-law to the late Jomo Koech, late Rebecca and Lydia Koech.

She was a sister to the late Walter, Liza, Janet, Kennedy, Joyce, the late Ali, Stella, Gladys, Livingstone, Josphat, Betty, Viola, Rosemary, Reuben, Shadrack, Carolistic, David, Gladys, Caroline, Kipkirui and Kipkemoi.

Sister-in-law to the late Elijah, Joyce, Janet Judith, Emmanuel, Marcell (Switzerland), Caroline, Isaac, Lawrence, Geoffrey, Sharon, Philip, Geoffrey, Winnie, Wilfrida Purity, the lace Grace, the late Sofia, Elizabeth, Alice, Geoffrey, Philip, Gilbert, Mercy, Janet, Joyce, Johnstone, Caroline, Geoffrey, Joan, Kennedy, Loice, Joyce and Mercy.

The cortege leaves Litein A.l.C Mission Funeral Home on Monday 12th February, 2024 at 2.00pm for a requiem service at Ngororga A.C Church. Thereafter, the body will leave for an overnight rest at her home.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday 13th February, 2024 at her home in ‘ Ngororga Village, Ngororga sub-location, Cheboin Location, Bureti Sub County Kericho County from 9.00a.m.

Eternal rest grant unto her oh Lord and let your perpetual light shine upon her. Amen
